PS3 Developer smhabib (also known as HABIB) has ported Cobra 7. to his 4.53 CFW. “HABIB 4.53: Cobra Edition v1.00″ features PRX plugin support at Startup, ISO Mounting, & NTFS Support and consists of the typical patches present in most CFW’s. You will find a couple of known bugs that haven’t been ironed the developer alerts about as seen below. These bugs ought to be fixed inside a future release. At this time around you may choose to remain on current 4.46 Cobra CFW’s or upgrade onto this new 4.53 option. When evaluating the 2 options at this time around 4.46 Cobra CFW’s provides a little more support overall, but that’s to not take nothing from the fine work that developer smhabib does with this particular release. CHANGELOG:
1.disabled block of look by cobra which cause black screen if controller not connected through usb.(Thanks Deank for the idea )
PRX Loading at Startup,
ISO Mounting,
NTFS Support will work but however did not test PS2 as I haven’t got BC consoles and did not patch for PS3 slim as PS2 classic and Cobra uses same ps2_netemu.
KNOWN BUGS:
1. PSP of Cobra gives black screen but Remasters work (may be addressed later on)
2. mmCM (not Iris Manager) gives black screen if controller not connected (probably mM (multiMAN / mmCM) problem as Iris Manager loads with no problem. )
NOTE:
1. PS2 ISOs for slim is PS2 Classic as Cobra and PS2 Classic uses same ps2_netemu
2. mmCM shows firmware version 4.46 for unknown reason.
ALSO:
I acquired no bc console to check PS2 so please do test and when any problem,ill attempt to resolve

stage0 base needs upgrading and stage1 expensive_mount_446.S.expensive mount uses ppc 64 bit instructions present in lv2_kernel as well as in lv2_dump,if you don’t do that or even the system cant allocate stage2 it will kick you in recovery mode
